The Food Pantry is dependant on many volunteers including students from various schools in the comunity, see the picture above for the recent 2014 graduates from the Reach Academy in Greenburgh. The students are very helpful when they help during the week to stack the food and bag it.
THE OLMC ELMSFORD FOOD PANTRY is inviting families to bring a turkey to church on Nov. 10 and 11 to help feed our pantry clients. Volunteers will meet you in the parking lot to assist you before mass.
The Elmsford OLMC Food Pantry is open to all residents of the village of Elmsford and or the parishioners of OLMC. It takes place the third Saturday of the month, from 10 AM to 12 noon. Clients must register and they can fill out the intake form on the same day. The food pantry is operated with donations from the parishioners of OLMC and from the Village of Elmsford. The food pantry has also received a start-up grant from the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless and is a member of the Food Bank of Westchester.

The children who had a free meal in school are now at home and the parent must come up with 3 meals a day instead of one. We cannot suffer any one child to go hungry.
