The Campaign will be for the preservation of our beautiful Church and School. The Campaign seeks to raise funds for three separate projects: A non-slip Ceramic-porcelain tile to replace the carpet in the church; A new boiler for School and Church; A refurbished Baptistery that will be moved forward and adjusted for recycled and heated water.
The campaign which I am conducting with the help of the Parish Finance Council consists of two phases. This first phase is directed to those like yourselves who have demonstrated this generosity toward the parish over the years. Our hope is that we can raise 50% of our overall goal of $250,000 from this group.
The second phase begins on the weekend of August 1-2 to all our parishioners. I know that you treasure the simple beauty of our parish and this project will make it even more beautiful, safe and worthy of our celebration of the Sacraments.
The Archdiocese has given final approval for the Campaign and it was launched on August 30th. The first phase of the campaign raised $130, 200. from 35 families. The gneral phase is in progress and our overal financial goal is $250,000 and our participation goal is about 50% of our parish registered families or 600 families.
All the work is complete and we are enjoying the fruits of the wonderful work by Artisan Restoration under the direction of Mr. Henry Gargiulo.
